CALL TO ORDER
Representative Hodgins, Chairman, convened the joint meeting
between the House Special Committee on Oil and Gas and House
Resources Standing Committee meeting at 10:10 a.m.
PRESENT
Committee members present at the call to order were Representatives
Hodgins, Ryan, Brice, Kemplen, Ogan, Dyson (via teleconference) and
Masek. Representative(s) Rokeberg, Bunde, Joule, Nicholia,
Williams, Barnes and Green arrived as the meeting was in progress.
Other legislators present were Representatives Austerman (via
teleconference), Kubina and Ivan.
SUMMARY OF INFORMATION
WILSON CONDON, Commissioner, Department of Revenue, gave background
information on the North Slope liquid natural gas project and on
Dr. Pedro van Meurs and answered the committee's questions.
PEDRO VAN MEURS, Doctor, Independent Consultant, Petroleum Fiscal
Systems, presented the results of his study on the Alaska North
Slope liquid natural gas project and answered questions on his
testimony.
COMMITTEE ACTION
The committee took no action.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 11:55 a.m.
